The Biohazard Backyardigans

Crazy, huh? Ok, here's the story. Eddie got a play weedeater for his birthday complete with yellow safety goggles. My kids used to have some blue goggles (as you'll remember from Bianca in blue goggles, purple princess dress, & hiking boots...), so both my kids wanted goggles too. Eddie gave Bianca a pair of swim goggles and then Ivan found the gas mask (why Eddie has a gas mask, I didn't ask!). All in all I think it turned out to make a pretty hilarious photo op. Posted by Picasa

Cute egg, Ivan!

Ivan's egg creations

Peek down at the pink egg with the pointy hat, note the teeth that Ivan drew on it, then peek back up at Ivan's gappy grin. *hehehe* Posted by Picasa

Eddie's 4 Year Birthday Party

You'd think we never feed this kid

I'm noticing a pattern here. So many of my photos of Ivan at parties and events catch him poised over the junk food... Posted by Picasa

There's something fishy about this

Mmmmm... what's that I see?

A whole bucket of M&M for me!? Posted by Picasa

"Read the invitation next time!"

It appears I wasn't the only mom who forgot our kids' swimsuits. OOOPS! I never even read the invitation because I knew when the party was. Posted by Picasa

The whole gang

First off, let me say I greatly dislike taking group photos. :-P This is one of the better (?) group shots from Eddie's party. There's Ivan in the back row with his mouth open, probably howling silliness at the time. He's next to Eddie, the birthday boy, who is poking his eyes out. Bianca is front left also making some sort of annoying sound effect. Hey, they had fun, isn't that all that matters? Posted by Picasa

We are so photogenic

I asked Tiffany to take a quick snap of me and my kids after Eddie's party. I like to have documented proof that I actually went to these events with my kids. Since I'm always the one behind the camera, it's tough to sneak me into candids, so I end up coming home with this sort of oddity. Posted by Picasa

Look what I found on my kitchen countertop this morning

I guess Mommy was taking too long getting dressed and the little monkey didn't want to wait for her breakfast. At least she made a fairly healthy choice: rice cakes! Posted by Picasa
