A Visit to the Farm: August 1 - August 8, 2006

I enjoyed being able to roll around in the soft lawn that never gets chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers sprayed on it. (I came home with the bug bites to prove it!)

The First Day of First Grade. August 10, 2006

Good morning! Let's hurry this picture thing up so I can get to school already. 

C'mon, Mom, let's go!

...heading through the front doors of school... 

...walking down the hallway... gee I missed these funky colored tiles on the floor... 

This is it. First Grade. I found the classroom with my name on the list. 

Hey! This desk has my name on it. Last year we had tables for kindergarten, but this year I get my own desk. 

Oh look, a name tag. 

Hmm, this seems like a good place for this, right here in the middle of my shirt. 

Say hello to my new teacher. (This is as good a time as any to start looking down her blouse.)
