It's been too long since I've done portraits of my kids. The desire to set up lights and backdrop has been burning a hole in my heart, so today I finally succomb to it. What a sweet girl. (Some of the time.)

Welcome to Our Wacky World!

One of the kids' favorite restaurants is IHOP, so after church I like to take them there for brunch. A week or two ago we were there waiting for our order and I was tired of coloring with them, so I took out the pocket camera and we had some silly wacky fun. :-)

We're not really sure how he manages to eat. His bottom 3 teeth are gone too. Ha - one day he was mad at me and I felt something pinching my arm and looked down and realized he was trying to bite me, but it was more like gumming me than biting. *hehe* Poor kid.

Some of my mommy friends went out for a night on the town with me for my 30th birthday last week. That's me on the far right... Suddenly I'm not "painfully young" anymore. I'm still coping with that fact.

The kids and I went on a walk around the neighborhood and when we got home we thought we better take a quick snapshot while the kids hollered, "Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you!" Can't wait to see you... soon! This month, even, if we get in gear and buy some plane tickets already. :-) *hugs* Happy Birthday, Mom.
